Serena is a junior at Shekou International School with a strong interest in biology and chemistry, particularly biochemistry and its connection to human health. Through both academic study and independent exploration, she has become fascinated by how molecular-level processes govern living systems. This growing curiosity has shaped her interest in medical science and how foundational biological and chemical principles translate into real clinical applications.

Equally important to her is making science accessible to everyone. She believes that scientific knowledge becomes most meaningful when it is connected to the real world.
